MUSTARD
An important and entertaining play from one of Canada’s most promising playwrights, Mustard won playwright Kat Sandler the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding New Play in 2016. It tells the story of 16-year-old Thai, a girl who deals with the difficulties of life by still having an imaginary friend named Mustard. Funny, tender, and provocative, this is a wonderful piece of theatre that crowds everywhere love! You can catch it at The Royal Theatre from October 20 to November 25!
THE MIKADO
Gilbert and Sullivan are in many ways the creators of what we now call “The Musical,” combining fun and unforgettable song numbers combined with colourful and entertaining stories! Their classic The Mikado is one of their best, a hilarious fusion of British culture and Japanese folklore that has tickled audiences for nearly a century and a half! You can catch it in Victoria November 2-4 at the Dave Dunnet Theatre in Oak Bay and November 9-11 at the Charlie White Theatre in Sidney.
SWAN LAKE
Now, this is something really special – the Moscow Ballet is touring the world with a stunning production of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake! These are world-class dancers performing one of the most timeless pieces ever created.
