Victoria is well known for its diversity, from its life long residents to his thousands of university students attending the many different colleges. With over 2 billion tourists a year, the events are just as diverse as its people residing and visiting this lovely city. Here two very good examples of just how diverse the City of Victoria is. 

Forest Spook-tacular 

Do you love the outdoors and going for walks? Do you love Halloween just as much? Get ready for Forest Spook-Tacular! On October 19th and 20th, between 11 am – 2 pm drop by the Francis/King Nature Centre and join in on their guided walks, where while on their walks, they will fill their cauldron with treasures from spooky natural world! Once you have headed back to Nature Centre, activities, displays and Halloween crafts await you! Make sure you wear your costumes, prizes will be given to those wearing them! Bring the whole family as it’s an all-ages event, and admission is FREE!! 

Victoria Chamber Orchestra Concert

Victoria Chamber Orchestra Concert will be opening their 25th season with an all-Mozart program on October 8th at 7:30 pm at the First Metropolitan Church 932 Balmoral Road. With Yari Aloni directing the Orchestra, you can be sure you will be left on the edge of your seat, wanting to hear more from this beautiful Orchestra. Admission for Adults are $20, and $15 for students/seniors (music students get in for free!). 
 

Once you have walked through the trails at the Francis/King Nature Centre, and enjoyed an elegant and beautiful night at the Victoria  Chamber Orchestra Concert, you can head on down to your spacious comfortable room down at the Days Inn Victoria on the Harbour. Before you head to your room, make sure you pop by the Belleville’s Diner for some Maple Salmon, Chicken Parmesan and some drinks, a perfect way to end a perfect night out! Book your rooms today!
